This product is advertised to test for yeast infections, however, once you get it home, it is really testing is for other types of infections (aka STDs etc.). The test strip has many different colors but the “normal” color and the yeast infection color are the same–yellow. So, basically, I paid $15 to say that yes I may or may not have a yeast infection–treat like a yeast infection or consult your doctor. Well, I could have done this before shelling out the $15, since I already knew I was not at risk for any other type of infection. Complete waste of my money.

I think people are getting tne wrong idea about this. The product is very helpful by testing to see what your chances are of a yeast infection or an std. A lot of people have stds and think they are yeast infections. It never says that it will say yes or no you have an infection it clearly says of ph levels are normal then treat like a yeast infection. So it’s basically saying that you dont have to go sit at the doctor just yet….So the vagisil product may treat what you are having… If your ph levels are high then it says see a doctor asap. So i think people need to realize that it is a test to let you know your possibilities. its not a yes or no like a pregnancy test. And its not a doctor in a box.

The color system is so vague; the test doesn’t tell you a damn thing. The only thing it tells you is to go to the doctor. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This product, though not the most exciting item to be spending my money on, was easy, and straight-forward to use, giving me results in just a few minutes, and saving unwanted time wasted in some doctor’s office, talking
about “feminine” issues. It is a tad pricey, but worth the convenience and privacy it provides.

This product really sucks because there is no option to tell you that you definitely do not have a yeast infection or that you are okay. Even under “normal” you may stay have an infection. I already knew i “may” have an infection, thats why i bought the test. I think this might only work if u have something more serious than a yeast infection and start getting all the other wierd colors besides the yellow.
